New Draft Pages: Translations in Japanese, I–II

Here are parts one and two of the draft pages for translations in Japanese. It includes translations of Nabokov’s English language works from A21 through A35, that is, The Real Life of Sebastian Knight to Pale Fire.

BTW, the term “obi”, used in the paragraphs describing bindings, refers to the wrap-around band over the dust jacket of many Japanese publications. It is usually more explicitly promotional than the dust jacket. It may include a brief description of the book and quotations from reviewers.
